LOVE...
It's completely romantic and good to be in love... the kiss, the smile on his face...
It's fantastic when we fall in love... and we have the same feeling coming from the other side...
It gives ma a shiver when I think on my love...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Sugar is sweet
And so are you.
I am like a cabbage
Divided into two
The leaves I give to others
But the heart I give to you.
I like coffee
I like tea
I love you
And you love me.
Ana Maria, 10º B
I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
and forever it will stay.

A world full of technologies...
Inventors... inventions... how would our lives be without them? Have you already imagined yourself without... a pen? a computer? a car?.... an Ipod.... In fact, we wouldn't be living the way we do if they didn't exist! They cause so many changes in people's lives...some improve our living standards ...others are simply superfluous.
The telephone was invented over one hundred years ago by a man called Alexander Bell. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on March 3, 1847.
Bell was an eminent scientist, inventor and innovator. Usually associated with the invention of the telephone, he was also called "the father of the deaf".
He wanted to invent a way of talking with his friends without moving from his house.
On March 10, 1876 Bell said the first words on his telephone. "Watson, come here. I need you". Watson was Bell's assistant.
The invention of the telephone revolutionized communication technology towards the new future inventions.
Just as the computer is a library at our finger tips, the first telephone was just magic and excitement.
This invention made our lives much easier.

Television appeared around 1930 to replace the radio that was used at that time to listen to the news and to "see the novels". With the advent of television people might finally begin to see images of their novels in the "magic box". When it was discovered, television was only acquired by the rich people. Cafes owned the majority of the televisions; people went there so that they could enjoyt hemselves by watching it.
Technology developed and so did television - first it was black and white, nowadays there are several types of television sets, dimensions ,colours, with a high definiton and are available for everyone...
Another important invention was the computer. The development of technology allows people to enlarge their knowledge. Some yearsago, nobody thought about cyber trips or even be on the other side of the planet without leaving home. Some of the advantages of the computer are that we can communicate with people, watch television and even make video-calls, just with the help of Internet.
Computer is able to replace telephones, letters, newspapers and even radios or televisions. Moreover, it allows people to enjoy themselves by playing games online.
I think these inventions were important to develop technologies, itmade globalization real and the contact with people from other cultures. I like to watch TV, but in my opinion computers are important because they have many functions. I use computer more than I watch TV.

....simply marvellous!!
The use of technology began with the transformation of natural resources into simple tools. The pre-historical discovery to control fire increased the different available types of food; the invention of the wheel helped humans travelling from one place to another in a shorter period of time.
More recent technological developments, such as the printing press, telephone and internet have made communication much easier and allowed humans to interact on a global scale.
However, not all technology has been used for peaceful purposes, the development of weapons of destruction has brought a feeling of fear and worry to human beings.

Advantages and disadvantages of the new technologies.
New technologies have a great impact on our lives. Nowadays , technology is used by everybody all over the world . Today, people don't know how to live without their mobiles, MP3, computer, GPS, virtual games... they became addicted to technologies. In my opinion, the new technologies are offering us ways of exploring a new world: the cybersapace, the virtual world. However, this might be dangerous. New technologies seem to cause addiction; there are those who have never written a letter on a piece of paper with a pen, as the traditional way does, due to the technological products that are available; they are constantly near the computer, using it , living with it... The increase of technology brought the development to our society. People are closer than ever, communications are easier and faster than they used to be. In some aspects, I consider myself a technological addicted.
We live in the robotic era and those who aren't able to follow the new technologies won't "survive" in this world.
