Consumerism
We live in a materialistic society. Nowadays, we are inluenced by the ads, by the big companies and by all the society, in order to buy, buy and buy...minute after minute. This is a huge problem, because people buy, mainly things they really don't need just, for the pleasure of buying or to be better than the others.
People don't pay attention to the true feelings like love, cooperation or help. Some people only want material gadgets and money; the more they have, the more they want. As a result, day after day, our society has become egocentric, selfish and not equal.
Young people, especially teens, are the most affected by this lifestyle. They prefer famous brands, mobile phones, computers and internet instead of friends, family and welfare which is really important.
Unfortunately, this is what happens nowadays and people aren't aware of the dangerous situation they are living in and I think the future will certainly be worse.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
I think I have a healthy lifestyle because I do exercise and I eat healthy food. Sometimes I eat junk food. Many people don't eat healthy food and don't do exercise. They drink too much, they smoke and they take drugs. So they put on a lot of weight. We must do exercise: ride a bike, play football, walk...and eat healthy food. If we do this, we will have a healthy lifestyle for many years.

St Valentine's Day
LOVE is...
Love is the greatest feeling,
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when youe eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.
I love you my Valentine!
Salete, 11º B
My dear:
If I could be anything in the world I would want to be a teardrop because I would be born in your eyes, live on your cheeks and die on your lips.
If I could just have one wish, I would wish: comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warmy our heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, love to complete your life.
There is only ONE happiness in life, to love and be loved.
I love you and most of all I love the way you love me.
Happy Valentine's Day!

What are the possible implications of cloning to society?
According to Biology, cloning is a natural or artificial process by which clones are produced. Clones are individuals with the same genetic information as those they come from.
What are the possible implications of a cloning process?
Cloning can be seen as a lifesaving science , or, for others, as carrying many risks to society.
Cloning brings us many benefits, such as:
Cells could be used to develop a cure for cancer;
The infertile couples will have the possibility of having babies;
The cells could get rid of the need for animals in experiment;
Endangered species can be saved;
Tetraplegics could walk again.
However, not everything can be perfect and there are, of course, risks in this process:
Misuse of cloning (for profit in the black market);
Loss of genetic variability;
It makes us less special (replaceble);
Aging early, low immunity and malformations;
The clones could suffer discrimination and psychological problems;
Religious and ethical issues are implicit in the process;
Cloning could go wrong and produce deformed offspring;
An army of clones could be produced to fight wars.
